Saturday July 4th, 2015 with Debbie Rose and Chris White
Kaleigh Watts, Randy MacNeil, Rick Fines, Ash & Bloom, Paug Lake Road

We chat with Kaleigh Watts who plays the Barney Danson Theatre at Bluesfest on Friday, July 10 at 6 pm. Randy MacNeil, who has photographed musicians at concerts and festivals for 30 years, invites listeners to the vernissage of his photo exhibit at the Atomic Rooster (303 Bank at Somerset) on Tuesday evening, July 7. Along with Francine Aubrey, Randy created a brilliant book called "A Portrait of Blues in Canada", and they are now working on a similar book about folk musicians. Rick Fines and Ash & Bloom call in from the Mariposa Folk Festival in Orillia with a report from the 55th edition of that amazing event. Paug Lake Road drops in to chat, laugh and perform live. They play a CD release concert at The Branch in Kemptville this evening -- see www.pauglakeroad.com.

I nominate "The Swimming Song" for the "Best Use Of A Banjo In A Folk Song" award. Great set, Debbie!
