Literary Landscape
Thursday April 20th, 2017 with Kate Hunt
Coalmines, Council Houses, Corsets . . . and Culture Carriers

A wide-ranging conversation with storyteller Norma Cameron that starts with her Granny Jamieson, born in 1900 outside of Glasgow, and ranges through the traditions of oral history, how culture and identity are passed on through our own life stories, our innate need for narrative, and whether or not it matters if it's true. Norma will be telling her grandmother's stories next week at the National Arts Centre.
